Hello, I'm Zara, designer, baker, sugar model/flower maker, admin, delivery , etc. behind Zara's Cakery!

As far as I can remember, I've always enjoyed making pretty things with my fingers. I used to paint, make mini statues, make porcelain flowers and all of this has inspired me to start my Cake business - and here I am using my artistic skills crafting my cakes.

I have an MSc in Information Technology, (I know, totally different!) but I just couldn't enjoy it as much as I love my Cake job & life is too short for not enjoying it!

I enjoy what I do and thats why hours and hours of love has gone into each and every cake!

My main passion is for wedding cakes and I love hearing the story of each couple and customising their cake design to their desire & seeing everything come together on their big day.

I love everything pretty, so the prettier the better !
